Sandy Roth

dr-sandy

For over 30 years, dentists worldwide have been looking to Sandy Roth to help them create practices of distinction. She inspires dentists to think differently, challenges archaic ideas and quick-fix solutions and helps dentists become as skilled behaviourally as they are clinically. Sandy promotes the concept of facilitation and helps practices learn how to become more effective with patients. With her support, dentists create highly-functioning and successful practices based on an understanding and application of communication and behavioral skills. Her focus on communication covers non-clinical areas of the practice – leadership, hiring, team development, patient relations and internal and external communications. You can be certain that you will discover ideas and perspectives of profound impact that can change the quality of your practice and your life.

Sandy has worked extensively in Australia, primarily in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide, having made 13 trips since 1995. In addition to her workshops, seminars, Behavioural Study Clubs, Practice Manager Study Clubs and practice consultations, she was instrumental in introducing The Seattle Study Club to Australian dentists.

Sandy Roth is a skilled communicator who founded ProSynergy in 1987. Her educational background includes a BA in Psychology and completion of Ph.D. coursework in Systems Psychology. The development of Sandy’s skills began on the streets of Philadelphia, where she served as a police officer while Doug, her husband of 45 years, attended Temple University Dental School. Those skills were challenged in graduate school and sharpened during her years in the political cauldron of Washington, DC. Doug’s dental practice offered the next setting for her learning when she joined him in 1981. They achieved a high level of mastery in leadership, team building and organisational development in their practice, which continues today in their niche practice in Brooksville, Florida.

Sandy has been formally affiliated with the Seattle Study Club network for over 21 years, emceeing the annual SSC Symposium, and has presented programs for over 93 clubs. She has worked extensively with The Kois Center and is an advisor to the Kois Mentor Committee and Curriculum Committee as well as a member of the Kois Editorial Board. Since 1982, Sandy has presented over 300 programs and engaged with over 1000 practices, both general and specialty. Sandy works privately with high calibre practices in retreats, practice consultations and provide leadership, hiring and training services.
